On the occasion of the upcoming presidential elections in the United States: To my fellow believers.

A significant portion of the United States population—roughly half—firmly believes that Donald Trump, a man described by critics with terms such as “idiot,” “liar,” “incompetent,” “arrogant,” “fascist to the core,” “the biggest danger ever to the republic,” “antagonistic,” “racist,” “narcissistic,” “divisive,” “corrupt,” “populist,” “nationalistic,” “dictator wannabe,” “unhinged,” and even a “Hitler lover,” is the only person capable of making America great again.

By 2024, The New York Times reported that Trump’s speeches had become increasingly dark, harsh, and angry. His rallies had grown longer—averaging 82 minutes, compared to 45 minutes in 2016— and were filled with more negativity. Experts described his rhetoric as rambling, tangential, and displaying signs of behavioral disinhibition, possibly as a consequence of aging and cognitive decline. There was a notable increase in his use of all-or-nothing terms like “always” and “never,” as well as a rise in the frequency of swear words—69% more than in 2016.

Beyond his speeches, Donald Trump has been embroiled in numerous legal battles and accusations, both civil and criminal. As of 2024, he faces multiple indictments and was found guilty in a significant civil case:

  1. Federal Classified Documents Case (2023): Trump was indicted for willfully retaining national defense documents after leaving office. He faced 37 counts, including charges for conspiracy to obstruct justice and making false statements, after allegedly hiding classified documents instead of returning them when subpoenaed.
  2. January 6 Capitol Riot Case (2023): He was indicted for conspiracy to defraud the United States, obstructing an official proceeding, and conspiracy to violate civil rights. These charges relate to his role in attempting to overturn the 2020 election and inciting the January 6 Capitol riot.
  3. Georgia Election Interference Case (2023): Trump faces state charges for conspiring to overturn the 2020 election results in Georgia. The indictment includes charges such as racketeering and solicitation of election fraud.
  4. New York Hush Money Case (2023): He was indicted on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in connection with hush money payments made during the 2016 election to silence claims of an affair.
  5. Civil Case – Sexual Abuse and Defamation: Trump was found liable for sexual abuse and defamation in a civil lawsuit brought by writer E. Jean Carroll. The jury ordered him to pay millions in damages after determining he had sexually assaulted Carroll in a department store in the 1990s and later defamed her.

Despite these legal challenges, many Americans still view Donald Trump as a savior for the country, believing he is \”the chosen one.\” However, I humbly suggest that this is far from the truth. In reality, Trump represents the worst possible outcome for America and the world. His presidency would likely embolden adversarial nations such as Russia, China, and North Korea, leading to chaos and disarray not only within the United States but globally.

If we truly seek to Make America Great Again, the solution does not lie in Trump or any political figure. Instead, the answer can be found in 2 Chronicles chapter 7 verse 14, which reads:

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

America\’s greatness will be restored not through divisive leaders or political maneuvers but through national humility, prayer, and a return to righteous values. True healing begins when we turn from wickedness and seek divine guidance. Only then can the land be healed, and only then can we truly Make America Great Again.
